Ana Ivanovic speaks to Kim Clijsters for CNN’s ‘Open Court’‏

This month’s ‘Open Court’ programme features tennis pros Ana Ivanovic and Kim Clijsters, up close and personal. Meeting in Antwerp, Belgium, the former number 1s talk about their love for Australia and why there’s more to life than tennis.

Ana Ivanovic on her new Serbian team:

“I am really enjoying that time. And, you know, someone who speaks the same language and can understand you. We’re also having more fun and lots of laughs on the court as well, which is important to make it interesting because the year gets very long.”

Ana Ivanovic on life after tennis:

“Obviously, family for me is a big part of my life and I want to have, you know, lots of kids on my own one day. Tennis is a big part of my life but it’s not my whole life.”

Kim Clijsters on her family:

“They are doing very good. It’s a little bit tiring. Jack is almost three month and he started sleeping a little bit better in the last few days. Hopefully he can keep it up and we can get a little bit more rest at night.”

Kim Clijsters on her love to Australia:

“I guess just also for the weather. Just to come from Europe and the first morning when you wake up with a huge jetlag, at 4 or 5 o’clock in the morning and everybody is running or swimming or, you know, you can go outside and they’re on their bikes. That’s what I love.”
